To aid its members by every honorable means in the attainment of their ambitions as chemists throughout their mortal lives.
Alpha Chi Sigma is a professional, co-ed fraternity with members interested in or associated with the field of chemistry. There are upwards of 80 collegiate and Professional Chapters throughout the United States, with current membership numbering more than 63,400 members. Membership is for life. The Beta Sigma Chapter of the Alpha Chi Sigma fraternity is located at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, New York. The Beta Sigma chapter was founded in 1966 in Rochester and has since initiated hundreds of Brothers. Our Chapter is comprised of active, inactive, and alumni members ranging in disciplines from Biology and Chemistry to Engineering. Our Chapter is involved in several local community service projects and professional outreach programs in the city of Rochester and at on-campus at RIT.
