About the Brothers

Maryalice Ball

she/her/hers

Chemical Engineering

Maryalice is a recent Alumni still active in the Rochester area. Maryalice joined Alpha Chi Sigma in spring 2019 because she wanted to join a group of people that supported each other but were all unique and celebrated those differences. She currently serves as the Alumni Secretary. Maryalice enjoys that in chemical engineering she has the ability to scale up processes that occur in lab to help people in a global scale. Go Bills!

Peyton Frohlich

he/him/his

Chemical Engineering

Peyton is a fourth year chemical engineering major. He joined Alpha Chi Sigma in spring 2022 and is the Health and Safety Officer. Peyton's favorite aspect of chemistry is that it offers answers to so many questions, much like physics. Peyton loves asking thought provoking questions in order to get to know the people around him better. He has a very extensive board game collection.

Mynard Pease

he/him/his

Applied Mathematics

Mynard is a fourth year applied mathematics major. He was previously a chemistry major. Mynard joined Alpha Chi Sigma  in fall 2022. He is the Master of Ceremonies. Mynard enjoys the geometry and structures in chemistry. He likes the way three-dimensional structures interact with each other.

Alyssa Abbe

she/her/hers

Biotechnology and Molecular Bioscience

Alyssa is a second year biotechnology and molecular bioscience major. She picked silver as her metal and favors reptilian pets.

McKenzie Watts

she/her/hers

Biotechnology and Molecular Bioscience

McKenzie is a third year biotechnology and molecular bioscience major. She serves as the Historian and Community Service Chair. She chose silver as her metal and hopes to someday develop treatments for genetic disorders via genetic engineering. She enjoys reading classic books, watercolor painting and learning to crochet.

Emily Ruddell

she/her/hers

Chemistry

Emily is a fourth year chemistry major. She joined Alpha Chi Sigma in fall 2021. Emily is currently the Master Alchemist. Her favorite aspect of chemistry is analytical chemistry. She enjoys the balance between math, chemistry, and biology.

Mary Emily Visingard

they/them/theirs

she/her/hers

Biochemistry

Mary Emily is a third year biochemistry major. She joined Alpha Chi Sigma in fall 2022 in order to connect with people who shared commons interests and goals. Mary Emily is the Treasurer and Co-Cyberalchemist. Mary Emily's favorite part of chemistry is organic chemistry and the interactions that atoms have with each other. Mary Emily spends most of her time in her organic synthesis research lab.

Matt Henry

he/him/his

Chemistry

Matt is a fourth year chemistry major. He joined Alpha Chi Sigma in fall 2022 and is the current Social Chair. Matt joined Alpha Chi Sigma in order to be in a community of like-minded individuals with common interests. Matt's favorite part of chemistry is research. He enjoys seeing how many courses and concepts are applicable when hes working in lab. Matt also is a huge pirate metal fan.

Em Scheuer

they/them/theirs

Chemistry

Em is a second year chemistry major. They chose Iron as their metal and joined Alpha Chi Sigma to find a great group of people who shared a passion for chemistry. They hope to use their degree to work in the forensics field and currently work in Dr. Eddingsass’ lab, doing research on plastics in local waterways and sewer systems.

Sophie Quail

she/her/hers

Biotechnology and Molecular Bioscience

Sophie is a third year biotechnology and molecular bioscience major. She is currently the Professional Chair and Public Relations Chair. She chose silver as her metal and enjoys social media and music.

Kaia Morgan Ambrose

she/her/hers

they/them/theirs

Packaging Science BS

Materials Science and Engineering MS

Kaia is a fourth year packaging science major, staying an additional year for materials science. She is currently the Reporter, Recorder, and Co-Cyberalchemist. Her focuses are in organic and polymer synthesis, and she is currently working on biomaterials for regenerative medicine.

Andrew Morris

he/him/his

Sustainable Engineering MS

Andrew Morris is a  second year sustainable engineering student. He graduated with a bachelors in packaging science in 2022. He joined Alpha Chi Sigma in Fall 2018 to meet others with an interest in chemistry. Andrew is the Vice Master Alchemist. His favorite branch of chemistry is polymer chemistry.

Will Warnock

he/him/his

Chemical Engineering

Will is a fifth year chemical engineering major. He joined Alpha Chi Sigma in spring 2020 to be with like minded people and to be in a network of people who enjoy chemistry. Will loves chemistry because "it's literally magic". He finds it fascinating that we can synthesize chemicals from molecules that can't be seen with the naked eye.

Sarah Wier

she/her/hers

Bioinformatics and Computational Biology

Sarah is a second year bioinformatics and computational biology major. She chose Mercury as her metal and plays varsity soccer at RIT.

Richard Bouck

he/him/his

Biochemistry

Richard is a second year biochemistry major. He chose Mercury as his metal and enjoys Taylor Swift. He also gave the Brothers a wonderful PowerPoint presentation on his thoughts of Hocus Pocus during Fall 2022 as a Pledge in Training.

Dillan Hatch

he/him/his
